Feedback on your manuscript from a reader’s perspective.

For our Beta Reading service, both of us (Courtney and Sara) will read your manuscript and provide separate feedback in the form of a PDF. Our feedback will address readability, writing style, what we thought of the characters and plot, whether the story kept us engaged, what we liked and didn’t like, and whether anything stood out in terms of inconsistencies or unanswered questions (all from the perspective of a reader).

You can also include a list of questions with your submission if there are specific elements of the story you would like opinions on. Additionally, we will provide suggestions for your next steps (from an editor’s perspective; for example, whether the manuscript is ready for line or copy editing or whether it might benefit from a developmental critique or full developmental edit).
